Participation in the EDPE 2015
05.10.15 On September, 21-23 a rector of KrNU, professor Mykhaylo Zagirnyak, and Associate Professor from Control Systems and Electric Drives department, Dmytro Mamchur, took part in 18th International Conference on Electrical Drives and Power Electronics (EDPE 2015). The conference was held in High Tatras, Slovakia.
This event started in 1973 as a local Czechoslovakian conference, which was held in Kosice (currently Slovakia). Since 1988 it was the conference with international participation with working languages Slovak/Czech, German, Polish and Russian. In 1990 the conference obtained status of the international conference with conference language English only. Since 2003 the conference is organized as an international joint Croatian-Slovak scientific event held alternatively in Croatia and Slovakia.
This year KrNU scientists presented two works at the conference: «Correction of the Operating Modes of an Induction Motor with Asymmetrical Stator Windings at Vector Control», and «Power Model of an Electrohydraulic Complex with Periodic Nonlinear Processes in the Pipeline Network».
During conference also meeting between KrNU rector, professor Mykhaylo Zagirnyak, and vice-rector for International Relations from Kosice Technical University, prof. Ing. Vladimír Modrák, CSc took place. During this meeting it was discussed possible ways for further collaboration between universities, particularly, joint participation of university staff and scientists in ERASMUS+ and HORIZON 2020.
