Cooperation with the Lublin Polytechnic University Lublin (Poland)

From 9-th till 11-th April this a delegation of "Lublin Polytechnic" University Lublin (Poland) visited us. The aim of visit was acquaintance with the educational and scientific potential of the University, discussing the future joint projects, in particular - dual certification programs and further development of cooperation between our institutions.
The head of the Polish delegation was the Chancellor of the University Wieslaw Sykora. The delegation included the Deputy Dean of the Management Faculty Jolanta Slonets, the Deputy Director of the Institute of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies Pawel Komada and the Head of the Architecture Department, the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture Bartlomii Kwiatkowskyi.
At the beginning of the visit, the first pro-rector Volodymyr Nykyforov welcomed his collegues. He told the guests about the history, the structure, the scientific and the methodical work of the Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University (KrNU).
Then, for more effective development of the cooperation, there were meetings with the representatives of the institutions, faculties and departments of KrNU according the direction, represented by evry of our Polish colleagues.

The Polish delegation visited laboratories of laser-jet cutting, automated electric of standard industrial machinery, automated SIEMENS control systems; technical means of automation and microprocessor control systems.
Also a meeting of the Polish university representatives and the KrNU students took place. A film about the Lublin Polytechnic was shown there. Then Mrs. Jolanta Slonets told about the existing educational opportunities and programs which are available for our students.
During the official meeting with the City Mayor Vitalii Maleckyi,the presents exchanged views about the cooperation between Poland and Ukraine, expressed gratitude to the Polish colleagues for the development of the relations between our universities and the importance of cooperation, particularly in the educational and scientific fields.
After the official reception in the Kremenchug city council, the Polish delegation was invited to the University for meeting with KrNU rector Mykhailo Zahirnyak.
The meeting summed up the visit and outlined the ways of further cooperation, such as short and long term exchange of students and teachers including the Erasmus + program ; KrNU students and teachers participation in the summer school of Polish; implementation of the dual certification program .
