A new ranking acquisitions of scientists from Institute of Electromechanics, Energy Saving and Automatic Control Systems KrNU
Rector of Kremenchuk Mykhaylo Ostrohradskyi National University, professor of Electric Machines and Devices department Mykhailo Zagirnyak, associate professor of Electric Machines and Devices department Viacheslav Prus and associate professor of Systems of Automatic Control and Electric Drive department Dmytro Mamchur took part in a series of international scientific events. Particularly, these are leading conferences in the magnetic fields analysis: 6th International Symposium on Applied Electromagnetics SAEM ’16 and 26th Seminar on Applied Electromagnetics in Modern Technologies and Medicine, which took place in Wroclaw, Poland, on 26-29 of June, 2016, and were organized by Polish Society of Applied Electromagnetism (PTZE); and also 24th International Symposium on Electromagnetic Phenomena in Nonlinear Circuits (EPNC ’16), which took place in Helsinki, Finland, on 28 June – 1 July, 2016.
Joint conferences in Poland gathered scientists from Poland, Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and Ukraine, which research interests are in area of calculation, simulation and application of electromagnetic fields in industrial devices and different mediums. 123 reports were presented at these conferences, 87 among them were presented during Poster Session. This year professor Mykhaylo Zagirnyak was a member of International Scientific Committee of these conferences.

Our scientists have made two reports at Oral Sessions related to the area of their scientific interests: Moh’dZ. Qawaqzeh, ViacheslavPrus, ÀntonKalinichenko, MykhayloZagirnyak „Determination of power efficiency of switched reluctance motor on the basis of the torque” and Atef Al‐Mashakbeh, DmytroMamchur, AndriiKalinov, MykhayloZagirnyak „A diagnostic of induction motor fed by frequency converter basing on electrical signals analysis”; and also three reports at Poster Session: Atef Al‐Mashakbeh, Viacheslav Prus, Mykhaylo Zagirnyak „Intellectual models of reliability of electric machines with long mean time between failures”, Viktoria Kovalchuk, Tetyana Korenkova, Abdelmaijd Berdai „Dynamic load in electrohydraulic complex at different laws of supply voltage generation”, Moh’d Qawaqzeh, Andrii Kalinov, Volodymyr Lotous, Mykhaylo Zagirnyak „An investigation of the loading system for induction motor using double‐fed motor”.

Another conference, EPNC ’16, which took place this year in Finland, is the most representative European conference in the field of research on electromagnetic phenomena in non-linear circuits. Scientists from Great Britain, Germany, France, Austria, Belgium, Finland, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Russia and Ukraine took part in this conference. Rector of KrNU, professor Mykhaylo Zagirnyak traditionally is a member of Organizing Committee of this conference. 75 reports were made at EPNC ’16 conference, 55 among them were made during Poster Session. Our university was represented by poster report Atef S. Al-Mashakbeh, Mykhaylo Zagirnyak, Andrii Kalinov, Mariia Maliakova „Compensation for non-active current components at mains supply voltage unbalance”, and professor Mykhaylo Zagirnyak also was a co-chairman at “Modelling of Electric Machines” session.
All works of our scientists, which were presented at International Conferences, were approved by international scientific society in related research areas, and their results will be published in international scientific journal Przeglad Elektrotechniczny (Electrical Review), which is high ranked international scientific issue and included in SCOPUS database. Also, during these scientific events it was determined further directions of cooperation between Kremenchuk Mykhaylo Ostrohradskyi National University and leading European universities and institutions.
