International Scientific and Technical Conference "Modern Electrical and Power Systems" (MEES-2017)
28.11.17 On November 15-17, 2017, the International Scientific and Technical Conference "Modern Electrical and Power Systems" (MEES-2017) was held at the first time in the Kremenchuk with the support of IEEE (International Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers). The official language of the conference is English. This is the first scientific and technical conference of such a high level in Poltava region.
The main objectives of MEES-2017 were communicative with scientists and discussing of energy conservation, diagnostics, optimization, automation and modeling of electrical engineering systems, industrial electronics, as well as issues of technical education and educational technologies.
Representatives from 12 countries of the world, including Egypt, Germany, Iran, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Poland, Slovenia, Turkey, Great Britain, etc. took part in the work and organization of the conference.
The conference was opened with greetings and interesting scientific reports by the rector of the university, Professor Mykhaylo Zagirnyak (Kremenchuk Mykhaylo Ostrogradskyi National University), Professor Andrzej Kravchik (Military Institute of Medicine, Warsaw, Poland), Professor Sergiy Kovbasa (National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institute), Professor Andriy Lozynsky (National University "Lviv Polytechnic").
270 participants were registered to participate in the conference. The total number of reports produced is over 100. The proceedings of the conference will be recommended for publication in IEEEXplore. Also, within the framework of the conference was an exhibition "Contemporary New Technologies in Industry", which presented research and teaching developments of teachers and scientists of the University.
