Kremenchuk Mykhaylo Ostrogradskyi State Polytechnic University won DAAD scholarship!
12.05.09 On the Çrd-14th of June 2009 15 students from Kremenchuk Mykhaylo Ostrogradskyi State Polytechnic University will pay a visit to Technical University in Braunschweig, Germany. This trip is funded through students’ practice scholarship granted by German Academic Exchange Service (Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst DAAD). We have been trying to win this scholarship for a few years and finally the latest attempt is happened to be successful.
Due to the scholarship 2-5 years students of the same faculty under the direction of their teachers from Ukrainian university have got an opportunity to take a trip to Germany to have a practical training in one of the German universities.
During the practical trainings students will visit a special laboratory for electro-measuring techniques and automatic control, Volkswagen, Baker Hughes. TU Braunschweig specialists will give our students lectures on modeling mechatronic systems and modeling transport apparatuses. Students of Kremenchuk Mykhaylo Ostrogradskyi State Polytechnic University will attend Doors Open Day of TU Braunschweig, where they will get a chance to learn more about the structure of the institution, its traditions, peculiarities, students and get acquainted with students and teachers of the university. A range of various meetings and excursions are scheduled for the visitors.
German University is to apply for DAAD students’ practice scholarship. At this point we were supported by Director of Dynamics and Vibrations Institute, TU Braunschweig prof. Dr. G. Ostermeyer and co-worker of the institute Î. Goloborodko. Kremenchuk Mykhaylo Ostrogradskyi State Polytechnic University has signed an agreement on cooperation with Dynamics and Vibrations Institute, TU Braunschweig and makes every effort to develop relations with German University. Hopefully, this visit will become a new staging point in the development of our cooperation with the Institute and contribute to the international activity progress of our university.
