Academic mobility within the framework of NAWA
26.06.19 On June 5-12 Ph.D. students of Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University (KrNU) Yuliia Aleksieieva, Viktoriia Kovalchuk, Viktoriia Nozhenko, Yevheniia Chebotarova and Rostyslav Yatsiuk visited the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Bialystok University of Technology (Poland) within the framework of an academic mobility programme funded by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA).
The academic mobility programme was rather informative and provided an official meeting with the Faculty management, visits to laboratories and local enterprises, presentation of the results of scientific research of the KrNU Ph.D. students. The internship started with the meeting of the programme participants with the dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering prof. Miroslaw Swiercz and the Vice-Dean for Scientific Research prof. Bogus³aw Butry³o.
The lecturers of the Faculty demonstrated the latest research developments and the potential of the research and technical base, in particular, the state of educational and research laboratories.
An organized excursion to Standard Motor Products Poland Ltd. producing ignition coils and AC S.A., manufacturing LPG and CNG auto gas systems for petrol and diesel engines enabled the participants to get acquainted with modern European technologies in industry.
Besides, the Ph.D. students of our university presented the materials of their theses research at the special meeting of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of Politechnika Bia³ostocka.
As a result of the internship, the programme participants received certificates of participation in the academic mobility within the framework of NAWA programme.
During the workshops a road-map of the continuation of cooperation between Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University and Bialystok University of Technology within the framework of the NAWA programme was coordinated and the steps for the introduction of a joint programmes of double diplomas were discussed. A visit of the representatives of Politechnika Bia³ostocka to our university is expected in September 2019.
