Girls in ICT 2021 at KrNU

KrNU joined International Girls in ICT Day. This event was held in the scope of dComFra project. This year International Girls in ICT Day was held on 22 April, and KrNU organized workshop on inspiring women to start ICT careers: “Girls in ICT. Start IT career at 30” delivered by invited speaker Olena Slavko.
Taking into account strict quarantine measures, the event was held in an online form.
During workshop Olena Slavko shared her experience starting ICT career as QA engineer at 30, her work experience on a number of projects devoted to developing software for operating system cores, online learning environment, anti-malware and others.
In general, about 15 girls attended this event online. A fruitful discussion upon women’s work experience in ICT concluded the event.
