Summer School "Simulation of Dynamics systems"
From June 30 to July 6 2010 in Kremenchuk Mykhaylo Ostrogradskyi State University was held Summer School on "Simulation of Dynamics systems".

Professor, Dr.Ing. George Peter Ostermeyer was the Lecturer. Professor G.P.Ostermeyer is the Director of the Institute of Dynamics and Vibrations in Technical University Braunschweig (Germany). Professor G.P. Ostermeyer arrived with his wife, Dr.rer.nat., director of secondary school, Ulrike Keterl-Ostermeyer and Dipl.Ing. of the Institute of Dynamics and Vibrations (Technical University Braunschweig) Alexander Goloborodko. It should be noted that Kremenchuk Mykhaylo Ostrogradskyi State University has close relationship with Technical University Braunschweig. Professor G.P. Ostermeyer visits our university at the second time. The first time he was here with a friendly visit in October 2007.

The participants of this Summer School were students, graduates and young teachers of such departments of the Kremenchuk Mykhaylo Ostrogradskyi State University as: automatic control systems and electric drive, electrical machinery and apparatus, computer and information systems. Classes were held in English and included both theoretical and practical issues. The language of teaching was unusual not only for participants of Summer School, but also for the professor, because he always taught in German. The purpose of training is to acquire a basic knowledge for creating advanced models of dynamical systems with maximum approximation to reality. The training was based on the program "Plan", developed by the professor Ostermeyer. The main topics of the lectures were: Graphic Animation, Algebraic Animation, Cellular Differentiation, Vibrational Model, Partial Simulating, Vehicle Dynamics, Hard-in-Loop.

Professor Ostermeyer has left his program "Plan" in the University as a present. He wants our students to practice in the creation of modern models of dynamic systems.

All participants were very satisfied with the participation in Summer School. They also were very glad to communicate with professor and his wife. Professor Ostermeyer was impressed by his students and the level of their training. So we hope that such events will become usual thing in the Kremenchuk Mykhaylo Ostrogradskyi State University.
