Students of our university received Leonhard Euler Scholarship.

In 2001, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) opened the Leonhard Euler Scholarship Program. The purpose of this program is to support and train PhD and graduate students engaged in science and engineering research.

Leonhard Euler Scholarship is awarded to PhD and graduate students which are at the last year of study, who have made great achievements in study and research process. Assistance is provided for a period of 9 months. At the final stage of the scholarship program students will have the opportunity to undergo monthly training at a German university. Application must be filed by a professor from a German university. One university may be eligible for up to ten scholarships.

It should be noted that the Leonhard Euler Scholarship is provided on a competitive basis. Number of applicants from all CIS countries on such a prestigious scholarship is much bigger than the number of established scholarships. The success of participation in this competition is provided by the existence of a developed academic relationship between the partner universities.

During four years Kremenchug Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University has been providing fruitful cooperation with TU-Braunschweig, especially with Institute of dynamics and vibrations, headed by Professor Georg-Peter Ostermeyer. Professor G.-P. Ostermeyer with the assistance of Dpl. Ing. Oleksandr Goloborodko applied for the Leonhard Euler Scholarship for our students. It was the second application and this application became successful. This year our students received "Leonhard-Euler Program 2011/2012" Scholarship for study and research from September 2011 to May 2012.
