Visit of Martin Reuther, the lecturer of DAAD
From 27.10.2011 to 29.10.2011 Martin Reuther, lecturer of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), visited our university. Guest from Germany took part in the Scientific-Technical Council of the University. He also visited scientific conference "Current difficulties in sustainable development of national economy” and welcomed its participators. Then Martin Reuther held a lecture-presentation for students, PhD students and faculty of our university. The presentation provided some information about the DAAD, its activities, objectives and functions. In addition, students were acquainted with German universities association and some statistical information as to the education in Germany. But the main purpose of the presentation was to familiarize participants with scholarships, grants and educational programs of German Academic Exchange Service.
Martin Reuter emphasized that to apply any educational grants or program is a very valuable experience, which ultimately must bring results. One of the key conditions of applying for DAAD scholarships is the sufficient knowledge of German language or at least the English language. That’s why Martin Reuter proposed to pass OnDaF test to prove the knowledge of our students. Eight students-philologists of our university had a desire to test their knowledge. It is pleasant to note that the level of students` knowledge proved to be sufficient for participation in DAAD programs.
