In the framework of the program "Training of students, PhD students, researchers and teaching staff at leading universities and research institutions abroad", granted by the Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sport of Ukraine, from February 15, 2012, Slavko Olena, assistant of Computer and information systems department, has started a one-month internship at the Institute of dynamics and vibrations (Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany).
At first she had: a small excursion around the Institute; a brief overview of research trends and issues; visited the laboratory of micro-movement simulation and observed the software and hardware equipment of the laboratory. Olena also got a working place in one of the laboratory`s rooms.
In a few days after the beginning of the internship, Olena presented some report about her own research, conducted in KrNU, to determine the future direction of her internship.
Now she works with the software, developed at the Institute of dynamics and vibrations, particularly for modeling dynamic systems. With the help of this software, Olena tries to implement some methods of modeling, developed during PhD-study.
This internship is organized in the framework of long and fruitful cooperation between Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University and the Institute of dynamics and vibrations of the Technical University of Braunschweig.
