Anniversary Conference at the Opole University (Poland)

On May 22 the Faculty of Economics of Opole University (Poland), which is a partner of the Faculty of Economics and Management of Kremenchuk National University, celebrated the 20th anniversary of its establishment. On this occasion, the Opole University organized the anniversary conference and student round table discussion. The participants were lecturers, researchers and administration of many universities of Poland and foreign partner universities.

In particular, the anniversary conference welcomed such guests from Poland universities as: prof., Dr. Hrzhehosh Shlyusarzh, Dean of the Faculty of Economics of Rzhesovskyi University; prof., Dr. Marek Lushchak, Rector of Wroclaw University of Economics; prof., Dr. Janusz Geller, Dean of the Faculty of Economics of Warmia-Mazury University in Olsztyn; prof. Krzysztof Malik, Dean of Faculty of Economics of Opole Technical University. There also were many guests from foreign partner universities: assoc. prof. Alphonse Haidosh, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Resources of Matej Bel University (Slovakia); prof. Klaus Scheler, Head Macroeconomics department of Potsdam University (Germany); prof. Valentina Pidlisnyuk, coordinator of international programs of KrNU (Ukraine).

Prof. Valentina Pidlisnyuk participated in the plenary session of the conference and greeted the celebrates the anniversary on behalf of prof. Mykhaylo Zagirnyak, Rector of KrNU and assoc. prof. Andriy Pochtovyuk, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management of KrNU.

During the conference prof. Pidlisnyuk had meetings with prof. Janusz Slodzykom, Dean of Faculty of Economics of Opole University, prof. Stephan Grogalskyi, Rector of Opole University and other representatives of several Polish universities. Prof. Pidlisnyuk informed colleagues about academic and research activities of KrNU, discussed opportunities for cooperation, faculty and students exchange, joint scientific activities and also invited colleagues to participate in Vernadskyi International Conference, which will take place in KrNU on September 28-29, 2012.
