The delegations from sister-cities Bydgoszcz (Poland) and Svishtov (Bulgaria) visited our city.
As a part of festivities of the 442th anniversary of the founding of Kremenchuk and 70th anniversary of its liberation from Nazi German the delegations from sister-cities Bydgoszcz (Poland) and Svishtov (Bulgaria) visited our city. On September 28 the formal meeting with the delegations members was arranged at the municipal executive committee, with participation of Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University. On the Poland delegation there were Kazimiertz Drozd vice-mayor; Lucas Kowalski deputy, head of city committee on promotion and international cooperation; Michal Sztybel deputy, head of city committee on sport and tourism. The Bulgarian delegation were presented by Victor Maistorov vice-mayor; Margarite Vutova department director; Kristian Kirilov deputy of city council; Ivailo Atanasov deputy of city council, Lubomir Lubenov deputy of city council. Volodymyr Nykyforov, First vice-rector, represented KrNU at the meeting.

In light of many years experience of various collaboration between these Poland and Bulgarian cities and Kremenchuk, the parties decided to make agreements between Kazimierz Wielki University, Bydgoszcz, Poland, Tsenov Academy of Economics, Svishtov, Bulgaria, and Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University for further fruitful cooperation in joint research projects and students exchange programmes.
