Kostiantyn Hryshchenho meets with the gifted youth on the eve of the International Students’ Day
18.11.13 On the 15th of November 2013, on the eve of the International Students’ Day, Vice-Prime Minister of Ukraine Kostiantyn Hryshchenko had a meeting with the gifted youth. Our University was worthily represented by Dmytro Bal, the fifth-year student of the specialty “Engineering Mechanics”.
Yevhen Sulima, First Deputy of the Minister of Education and Science, Vasyl Kremen, President of the National Academy of Pedagogic Sciences of Ukraine, Leonid Hubernskyi, Rector of Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National University, President of the Association of the Rectors of Higher Educational Establishments of Ukraine, and 25 students of the leading higher educational establishments participated in the meeting. The event was held in the form of the open discussion. The students had an opportunity to discuss the current situation and the prospects of developing Ukrainian education with the Government representatives.
Dmytro Bal was selected to take part in the meeting due to his numerous achievements in the study, science and international activity (e.g. undergoing a six-month training in ICAM (France) within the framework of the budget program 2201250 “Study, training, enhancing qualification of the students, PhD students and faculty abroad” organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, gaining 1st grade Diploma in the Ukrainian contest of the qualification skills in the profession “General machine operator”, participation in the contests and conferences.
