18.12.13
The "School of Young Financier" is conducted at the Department of the Finance and Credits at Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University. The projects organizers continue to carry out a series of seminars for schoolchildren.

The project is supported by the Department of Press, Education and Culture of the U. S. Embassy in Ukraine.

The seminars Insurance: history, types and forms tool place on the basis of Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University and the local schools.

The schoolchildren learned about the essence, origin and regulatory and legal framework of insurance, the main types of insurance. They were also given examples, advantages and disadvantages of insurance programs. In terms of non-confidence in the financial sector, special attention was focused on the criteria of reliability and ratings of the insurance companies, particularly in terms of provisioning these companies.

The seminar participants listened with interest and, in their opinion, they have a lot of new useful information. For example, Mykaolai Dmytrenko (lyceum 4) believes that "it was very interesting and helpful. I learned a lot of new information about the insurance companies".

Dariia Karkunova (lyceum 4) liked the seminar because "there were given examples of insurance programs. The coach gave strong evidence in favour of insurance companies, that contributed to the increase of confidence herein".

According to Olha Biriukova (College 25): "This seminar was useful and interesting. I would like to find out further examples of insurance in the U.S. and Western Europe to be able to compare them with the Ukrainian program".
