 Training of highly qualified scientific and pedagogical staff has always been and remains one of the key issues of each higher educational institution and in general, of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Training doctors, candidates of science and doctors of philosophy (PhD) through its own network of postgraduate and doctoral studó is the most promising and effective way to solve this problem for any higher educational institution.

The Postgraduate and Doctoral Degree Department of Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University is a structural subdivision of the University which carries out its activities in order to organize and control the training of scientific and pedagogical staff of the highest qualification in University Postgraduate Training Program (as well as out of this Program) and Doctoral Training Program. The Department defines the mechanism of applicants training for higher education at the third (educational-scientific) and scientific levels of higher education in order to obtain higher education for doctors of philosophy and doctors of sciences, respectively.

Actually 1 doctoral and 103 postgraduate students are training in 12 research directions at 21 Departments.

Postgraduate and doctoral students training is covered from the State budget as well as under contractual terms. The training period is up to 2 years for doctoral students, and up to 4 years for postgraduate students of intramural form (daytime, evening).

In accordance with the current legislation, military service is deferred for young people enrolled at any form of Postgraduate study for the entire period of training.

Postgraduate and doctoral students get a scholarship and benefit from preferential terms for research results publishing. The most promising projects can win government-sponsored or University extrabudgetary funds monetarily supporting.

Training period for postgraduate students:
Intramural form (daytime, evening) - 4 ears

Training period for doctoral students:
Daytime - 2 ears

There are seven specialized academic councils at the University. They have the right to consider and conduct defenses of dissertations for the degrees of Doctor and of Candidate of technical sciences

LIST OF DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED FOR ADMISSION TO POSTGRADUATE STUDY

 

1. Application form.
2. Personal card (form Ï-2ÄÑ).
3. A copy of the master's degree diploma and a copy of the diploma supplement.
4. Six photos 3õ4 cm.
5. Agreement for a postgraduate student training.
6. A copy of the military service registration certificate (if available).
7. A copy of the first page of the passport and a copy of the identification code certificate.

We accept documents for admission to Postgraduate study from 01 to 30 June. Entrance examinations in foreign language and in specialty take place from August, 25 to September, 05.

LIST OF DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED FOR ADMISSION TO DOCTORAL STUDY

 

1. Application form.
2. Personal card (form Ï-2ÄÑ).
3. A copy of the PhD diploma (of the candidate of sciences diploma) and a copy of the Associate Professor Certificate.
4. A detailed plan of thesis for a doctoral degree accomplishment including abstracts of the minutes of the Department and Faculty academic board meetings.
5. A list of published scientific works and titles of protection.
6. Two photos 3õ4 cm.
7. Agreement for a doctoral student training.
8. A copy of the first page of the passport and a copy of the identification code certificate.

Documents for admission to doctoral study are accepted from June, 01 and the doctoral students are enrolled from October, 01.
