Academic mobility of lecturers within Erasmus +

February 17-24, 2018 within the program Erasmus+ lecturers of the Department of Accounting and Finance Assoc. Prof. Denys Zagirniak, Assoc. Prof.Inna Khovrak together with Assoc. Prof. of the Department of Informatics and Higher Mathematics Svitlana Pochtovyuk and lecturer of the Department of Philology and Publishing Viktoriia Perevozniuk visited the Abertay University (Dundee, Scotland, Great Britain).

Academic mobility was aimed at the exchange of experience in the application of innovative teaching methods, the formation of professional competences and assessment of the quality of education. During the visit, lecturers of Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University and their colleagues from Abertay University were holding the meetings to outline the prospects of bilateral cooperation between universities. Also during the visit, representatives of our university got acquainted with the peculiarities of the Dundee Business School Bachelor`s and Master`s Degree Programs.

Close cooperation has been established with the departments of business and management, accounting, finance and economics. The internship program was full of meaningful discussions, individual consultations, lectures and practical classes. This allowed us to get acquainted with the methodology of conducting research and teaching of professional disciplines, the organization and coordination of international academic mobility, and the British experience in improving the educational process.

Participants of the internship paid a lot of attention to the discussion of the main directions of scientific research. During the visit to Abertay University in Dundee, our university lecturers were able to get acquainted with the structure of the university and the organization of the educational process, to visit the campus and library.

The knowledge gained will enable participants in the program to integrate new techniques and promote better teaching in line with European higher quality standards. Participants received certificates of internship. An important result of the visit was the harmonization of directions for deepening cooperation between universities.
