Dr. Bibek Bhatta, as a member of the Department of Accounting, Finance and Economics at the Business School of Abertay University, lectured on topics of financial management and investment. The lectures were open, so both the students and graduates of the university were present there. The British business case has caused particular interest to students. During the lectures, students were solving tasks for determining current and future value of money and asking questions. Also, the program of academic mobility Erasmus + envisaged Dr. Bibek’s meetings with Faculty of Economics and Management. Dr. Bibek Bhatta is a scientist and practitioner in the field of finance: - PhD (finance) - Business School of the University of Strathclyde, UK; - MBA (Banking and Finance) - University of Wales, UK. Therefore, during the seminar of the departments of "Accounting and Finance" and "Marketing", the innovative teaching techniques have caused a lively discussions, as well as the principles of ensuring academic integrity, ethics and social responsibility, the peculiarities of conducting research on investment, corporate finance and financial markets. Associate Professors of the Department of Accounting and Finance Denys Zagirniak and Inna Khovrak have acquainted Dr. Bibek Bhatta with the main directions of international cooperation and academic mobility of faculty members and students of the department. Also during the seminar opportunities for joint participation in the organization of international scientific and practical conferences, research, writing of scientific articles and international projects were discussed. Teachers and students of the Accounting and Finance and Tourism departments also formed a cultural program and conducted excursions for the guest from the partner university. Back
