Final training seminars on financial literacy in Ukrainian and English and dComFra dissemination workshop

In the last week of November, the university held final training seminars on financial literacy for the student youth: on the 25th in English, and on the 26th in Ukrainian. As previously reported, the seminars were held within the framework of the “Financial Literacy Seminars in English”, a joint project of the United States Government Agency “US Peace Corps in Ukraine” and the Center for International Activity of our university. The idea was authored by the Peace Corps volunteer Maxwell Kushnir. This time, Andrew Womer, the analyst of the headquarters of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), Paris, France, joined the seminars.
As previously, during seminar it was held out dComFra dissemination workshop, aimed to share information about current conditions with computer literacy issues in Ukraine and other countries.

During the English-language seminar, that took place on November 25, students learned about the causes and effects of inflation, its variants and indicators.

Following dComFra dissemination workshop, where Andrii Gladyr presented ideas of the project, caused fruitful discussion between Ukrainian students and Peace Corp volunteers about necessity certain ICT knowledge for effective financial management in current world.

The following day, on November 26, the training seminar was conducted in Ukrainian (with the support of the Department of Translation) in a format of a summary of all previous English-language seminars.

At the end of the meeting, the US Peace Corps volunteer Maxwell Kushnir announced that new training seminars would be held next year.
