Training within the scope of Erasmus+ “Digital competence framework for Ukrainian teachers and other citizens” project at National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”, Kharkiv, Ukraine

In period from 24th till 27th of February 2020 KrNU delegation represented by Associate Professor from Electricity Consumption and Power Management department, acting director of the Center for International Activity Andrii Gladyr, Associate Professor from Automated Control Systems and Computer-Integrated Technologies department Dmytro Mamchur, Chair of Computer and Information Systems Department, prof. Mykola Huchenko, Associate Professor from Computer and Information Systems Department, Valerii Sydorenko and Senior Lecturer from Electric Drives and Automated Control System department Oleksii Kravets took part in trainings within the scope of Erasmus+ Key Action 2: Capacity Building in Higher Education project “Digital competence framework for Ukrainian teachers and other citizens” dComFra, 598236-EPP-1-2018-1-LT-EPPKA2CBHE-SP at National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”, Kharkiv, Ukraine.


During trainings our representatives learned about Digital skills development for non-informatics students at VMU (presented by Artūras Mickus, VMU), Teaching ERP concepts and business processes: experience with SAP University Alliance (Ulman Miloš, CUAS), Interactive Learning Activities on Moodle Learning Environment (Teodora Chicioreanu, UPB CAMIS), Strengthening the teacher`s workshop with the use of modern teaching solutions (webinar headed by Alicja Pituła, PUC), new method of application development in computer laboratory (Olaf Bar, Alfred Budziak, PUC), Strategy of implementation of eLearning in Carinthia University of Applied Sciences (Antonina Hammermüller, CUAS), TestEngine usage and training courses experience for beginners, took part in workshops and discussed the training results.


As a result of the meeting, all the participants received relevant certificates.


Reference. The international coalition includes six European (Vytautas Magnus University; Carinthia University of Applied Sciences; Pedagogical University of Cracow; University Politechnica of Bucharest; Czech University of Life Sciences; Information Technologies Institute) and nine Ukrainian establishments (Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (MESU); Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (TSNUK); Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts (KNUCA); National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” (NTU "KhPI"); Donetsk National Technical University (DonNTU); Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University (ChNU); Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics (KNURE); Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskiy National University (KrNU); Ukrainian association of IT professionals (UAITP).

All the costs related to the project implementation are funded through a grant from the European Union Erasmus+ Program, line ÊÀ2: Capacity building in Higher Education for the current project “Digital competence framework for Ukrainian teachers and other citizens”, 598236-EPP-1-2018-1-LT-EPPKA2CBHE-SP.
