Goals of sustainable development

GOAL 11: MAKE CITIES INCLUSIVE, SAFE, RESILIENT AND SUSTAINABLE

The strategy of sustainable (balanced) development, an integral part of which is the ecological component, was declared a priority direction for the future development of Ukraine. In Ukraine, the implementation of regional environmental policy is provided by law through the mechanism of development and implementation of comprehensive and targeted programs at the regional and local level.

In order to fulfill the requirements of the Law of Ukraine "On Strategic Environmental Assessment", the University teachers developed the Environmental Protection Program of the Kremenchuk Urban Territorial Community for the period 2021-2025 ("Environment - 2025").

Pursuant to the memorandum on strategic cooperation between the public organization "Free Arduino", which coordinates the Ukrainian network of public monitoring of air quality "EcoCity" and on behalf of the Czech non-governmental organization "ARNIKA". It implements the project "Clean Air for Ukraine" in Ukraine. In Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University, an air quality monitoring station was installed in one of the buildings of the university. A visual interactive display of the average value of the air quality index of the university station KrNU_3_ozon in real time can be seen at the link:
