GOAL 7: ENSURE ACCESS TO AFFORDABLE, RELIABLE, SUSTAINABLE AND MODERN ENERGY

In connection with the need to increase the energy efficiency of KrNU buildings and structures, the components of the "Energy Policy of the University" direction of the University's Strategic Development Program for the period until 2023 have been developed. The required level of energy efficiency of the buildings of the 1st and 5th educational buildings of KrNU was achieved in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On the Energy Efficiency of Buildings" by implementing an automated energy monitoring system for measuring energy consumption and determining indicators of the efficiency of the use of energy resources into the practice of operating university buildings.

Effective energy-efficient solutions at KrNU

Compared to 2022, the consumption of electricity in educational buildings and dormitories of the University decreased by 2.2 times, which is a rather important component of the energy efficiency policy of KrNU.
